Bandit Miles for Paws
Organized by: Jaimie Shaughnessy
This April, I will be taking part in my 4th Boston Marathon! Last year, I needed to come up with a lot more than I could afford and unfortunately, I am unable to make any charity commitments this year. It's gonna be a bandit race for me! However, part of what makes the Boston Marathon such a prestigious race is its community involvement. Non-profits from all sorts of backgrounds are able to raise tens of thousands of dollars AT LEAST. Races like the Boston Marathon really make an impact for their causes. Some non-profits are in a similar boat as myself and cannot make the financial commitments to supply numbers for the runners. SO! This year, I am going to do my best to give back to the Milton Animal League which is currently working on raising funds for a new shelter. I will also be hosting a few fundraisers at CPK so keep your eyes peeled for the dates!
