Afghanistan's especially horrible weapons have produced a generation of post traumatic stress disorder victims, and when the damage not only to them but to family members is tallied, the damage to civilization is inestimable. Painting is one means of healing, as is writing and other arts. Funds raised will enable promotion of the book, workshops, and guest appearances by the writer, who suffered PTSD himself along with other physical disabilities. He has years of professionally counseling brain-damaged vets as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation.
