BENEFITING: CANCER PATIENT SUPPORT FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: CANCER PATIENT SUPPORT FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Jan 24, 2015
The Barre 32 Degrees will be playing in the Novice Division Games of the 2015 Face Off Against Breast Cancer Tournament on January 24, 2015.
The purpose of the Face Off Against Breast Cancer Tournament is to gather funds for Cancer Patient Support Program and to raise awareness for breast cancer in our communities. We also like to play some hockey and have a good time!
The Cancer Patient Support Program (CPS) is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to offering comprehensive psychosocial services to cancer patients and their families throughout Vermont and upstate New York. Our vision is that all who face cancer can do so with dignity, confidence and serenity. Contributions to CPS make possible a range of supportive services, including psychological, nutritional counseling and educational programs. We also provide emergency funding for patients who find themselves in financial hardship due to their illness.
Our tournament donations are designated toward patient services and the emergency fund. Read more about CPS on their website at http://www.cpspvt.org.
