Once known as the Pearl of the Antilles, the Republic of Haiti is a Caribbean country with a deep rich history and unique socio-economic environment. Haiti is rich in natural resources but lacks stability, infrastructure and opportunity. At the core of this instability is an inaccessible education system.
BATI School is a non-profit operating a sustainable farming and free educational ecosystem in Miragoane Haiti. Our farm acts as a nexus between educational opportunity and sustainable agriculture by providing a foundation for place-based learning, financial stability through crop sales and employment for the families of our students.
