Four years ago one of my dearest friends left this world after battling Brain Cancer for four years. During those four years, Todd continued to grace his family and friends with his laughter, charm and uncanny sense of humor while bravely undergoing risky treatments and enduring terrifying side effects. When I think of Todd I miss most his uplifting smile, warm hugs, witty personality and, most of all, our friendship. This year, the four year anniversary of his death so happens to land on Easter Sunday, making the holiday a very special and difficult time.
On Facebook, one of his final posts read, "...cancer is an incredibly lonely disease. Hug anyone with cancer(or anyone else for that matter) before it's too late." Today is too late for one more hug from Todd, so in honor of his life I would like to raise money for Brain Cancer Research. Brain Cancer Research is important in finding cures and more effective treatments for the disease, however, it is very underfunded. Every little bit will get us closer to making the victims of Brain Cancer more comfortable or maybe even cured.
