CHILD RESCUE via Crowdrise
April 10, 2012
Welcome to Cottonwood Station!
Thank you so much for your consideration of our station.
Backyard Broadcast is the youth campaign of Child Rescue, an anti-trafficking non-profit. It is comprised of a group of young individuals that collectively can:
See a Future Where the Sex Trafficking of American Children is Abolished
We believe that what we do can make a difference in the lives of real people in our communities and our country.
The Backyard Broadcast is modeled on the basis of high school chapters, we call “Broadcast Stations”. Our goals are to raise awareness about sex trafficking to our peers and in our communities. With the average age a kid is first trafficked being 13, it is our demographic that is most at risk and needs to be the most informed to understand the risks and realities of sex trafficking. Our “Station Chiefs” or chapter presidents also work to have our local law enforcement trained to help the victims of trafficking and make a positive impact directly in our communities.
We are a group of young individuals who are passionate and driven and are fighting for the abolishment of sex trafficking in our backyard.
Your donation will go towards supporting us in our efforts, and help fund law enforcement training on the specifics of how to identify and prosecute cases of sex trafficking.
