Dearest friends & family,
As I celebrate my 40th birthday, I feel grateful and want to help the young school children of Agri, Turkey who don't have the same opportunities we've had. On my birthday, the best gift that you can give to me is to help raise funds for a local school to support their education.
The school has 300 children, 50 of them are in kindergarten, and serves very low income families. The children need pretty much everything: educational toys, books, notebooks, pencils, crafts, shelves, education materials and even boots, coats and clothing to get through the harsh winter.
Agri is a city at the eastern part of Turkey where the weather (especially winter) is very rough and the economic opportunities are extremely limited. The city hosts the majestic Mount Ararat of Noah's Ark. The school "Soma May 13th Miners Elementary School" has been recently opened in memory of the mining disaster in Soma, Turkey.
It's wonderful to be surrounded by such special friends, loving family and supportive colleagues. 40 years went by in a flash and I am truly grateful for the journey. When I look back, I see how lucky I was to be born into a family that could give me those opportunities. These children are not able to get the same and they deserve to be in an environment where they feel nurtured and get the education that they desperately need.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR SUPPORTING MY 40TH BIRTHDAY WISH! ANY AMOUNT GOES A LONG WAY.
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WHAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER!!
With much love,
