BENEFITING: BLIND DOG RESCUE ALLIANCE
EVENT DATE: Aug 17, 2014
Let me start by saying thank you for considering to donate to Blind Dog Rescue Alliance. Many people who know me and my family have seen that we love dogs. With that all of our furry family members are rescues. Two of which were born with blindness. Andria and I love our girls and always wanted to be able to give more back to these special rescues. I had started doing triathlons and individual running events in 2012. When one day Andria took "Cori" our little seeing impaired puppy to one of my events. She was a crowd favorite. That is when I decided that this would be a perfect way to raise money for Blind Dog Rescue Alliance. I thought that everytime I did an event people could make a donation to BDRA. This year I will be competing in many events the last being in the Half-Ironman in Gilford NH. So while I am doing some other events to get ready for this race I thought that people may want to donate for each event I participate and complete. I also post my times at the end of each race if some donations are made based on time. This not only gives me the motivation to do well but helps to save the special needs puppies and dogs that we love so much. I am looking to raise $1,000.00 over the next racing period which runs from May to October. I understand that many of us struggle to make ends meet daily, but even the smallest donation per race means so much.
Thank you again,
Nicole and all the volunteers at BDRA
