Join The Bear Hug Foundation on Thursday, August 6th for our inaugural Detroit bicycle ride!

5:30 pm: Biker Registration / Happy Hour Begins 

(Happy hour runs continuously from 6-9pm)

6:30 pm - Riders Depart

7:30 pm (approx.): Riders Return

$20 for Bikers + $10 fee to slow roll good for one year

This inaugural slow roll event is just one fun way for you to come out and support Bear Hug Foundation, have fun, eat, drink and take a slow roll through Detroit!!

 

Riders will meet at the new Hopcat in Detroit before heading out to enjoy an easy ride on the streets of Detroit. There's a 2-step process for bikers: need a slow roll membership and to register on CrowdRise. Go to membership and click on basic membership. Then go back to CrowdRise and register through them for Bear Hug.

 

Every biker will receive an inaugural Bear Hug Slow Roll t-shirt!! There will also be a complimentary sandwich and burger bar, Hopcat's famous crack fries, and a cash bar. 

 

You can still enjoy the happy hour even if you miss the ride!! The happy hour is filling up fast, so register and secure your spot. The happy hour takes place from 6-9 pm and it’s for everyone so even if you aren't biking, come and enjoy a fun, summer night at Hopcat!

 

Best of all, every registration (for bikers and non-bikers) includes a raffle ticket for your chance to win a new Shinola bike, courtesy of Camp Tanuga.

Bear Hug Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides at-risk, under privileged and special needs children the opportunity to experience a summer camp program throughout Michigan. It gives these kids the ability to grow and learn from team building, nature and each other.
