BENEFITING: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association
EVENT: 2014 ASICS LA Marathon
EVENT DATE: Mar 09, 2014
Last year I set a goal of raising $15,000 and we raised almost $78,000. This year, we are a team. The Beat ALS Marathon Team. And we are running the 2014 Los Angeles Marathon to raise $100,000 to fund research to find a cure for ALS. In June of 2012, my brother Michael was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease, so the race for a cure is on.
The BALS Marathon Team was five, but due to injuries (we are all old men), we are now three determined runners and fund raisers. Ryan is running his first marathon for his older brother, and Paul is running his first for his friend of 35 years. It's a big effort and they are training very hard. Please reward their effort with as large a donation to the cause as you can make. 100% of the money raised from the marathon goes directly to research. Your donation will help. You will make an impact. You will help find a cure.
Thank you! And please tell a friend.
