THE STORY:

Becca White wrote -

Hello and welcome to my page. Thank you for stopping by and reading this.
I was a passenger on a motorcycle in May of 2013 when we were rear ended and I got projected from the bike. The helmet I was wearing was too big and came off upon impact and I sustained a traumatic brain injury. I was in a coma for 2 weeks and was staying at St. David's Medical Hospital off 620 in Round Rock and then transported to Bluebonnet Medical Rehabilitation Hospital at Texas NeuroRehab Center. I had a tracheotomy in my throat to help me breathe because I initially couldn't do it on my own as well as a feeding tube. I was in speech, occupational, and physical therapy. I broke my left foot-the talus, which is the main bone in the foot and my bladder ruptured. When I sustained a traumatic brain injury, I had 3-4 skull fractures and shearing. One of the skull fractures affected the nerve that connects the ear drum to the brain so I have hearing loss in one ear.
Upon being discharged from the hospital I had to do outpatient rehab of speech and physical therapy. When my foot healed after 3 months I was able to stop physical rehab and am just in vision therapy now. I am currently not driving and have not for almost a year now because of my vision.
I have not received any compensation from the woman who rear ended us from her insurance company and am in debt from the medical bills. I would very much appreciate it if you could help and donate. Anything and everything would help!
