24 Days to go before the Annual Dive-A-Thon!
June 21, 2016
Dive Around the Clock (DATC) brings together the scuba diving community for an annual 24-hour scuba diving relay dive-a-thon charity event with the aim of educating and raising awareness about childhood cancer and to raise funds, benefiting Children’s Cancer Research, to be used to advance medical research into the diagnosis, treatment and cure of childhood cancers. All proceeds from fundraising will go directly to Seattle Children's. Seattle Children’s Hospital specializes in treating unique physical, emotional and developmental needs of children. This organization is dedicated to research toward finding cures while providing over the top care to every child in our region, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Their research institute is among the top 5 pediatric research centers in the nation. This benefit/charity is near and dear to my heart as I have first hand experience in watching the team at Seattle Children's produce miracles both personally and for other families. I will never forget the care and dedication they provided to my son in an effort to save his life. My personal goal is to raise funds toward Cancer Research in an effort to make an incredible difference in a child's path to recovery and supporting those families who need it most. Your generous donation will provide funding toward preventing, treating, eliminating childhood illness, and making miracles happen. Please help me in my quest to bring hope to children and families affected by cancer and other serious illnesses. Your kind support means the world to the Elliott family and our efforts in honoring our son, Nathan Jude Elliott's, memory.
