Some maybe aware of my son Christian Mangine age 34 and his struggles in life with addictions. At the age of 19 he broke his neck swimming at the 3 Rivers Bridge a popular hangout. At this time he was partying like many young teens do. But this day not only changed his life but his families life as well. Everything the Drs told me he would go through he did. The only miracle was that he was paralyzed as a incomplete quadriplegic. Meaning he was able to walk after many months of rehab. The Drs also said he may go through periods in time of depression, alcoholism, drugs, attempts at suicide and they were right. Eventually he suffered all of this along with many times being incarcerated for arrest. He eventually made his way to Home of Grace but that didn't seem to get through to him. He is now serving his time behind bars as a felon. I have faith that one day he will be the son I raised with good morals, values and a wonderful heart and help others. So please help me as I grab the free bars in life and raise monies to keep the program of Home of Grace to help others like my son.
What We Offer
3 Month Residence
Located on two state-of-the-art campuses, our two men's and women's campuses offer a comfortable and secluded home. Your 13-week stay will consist of a week-long orientation, followed by a two phase program emphasizing both the disciplines of spiritual growth through counseling and personal ethic through the work program.
Our counselors are certified and trained to guide you through a behavioral change and move you toward a new lifestyle free from addiction. These sessions are geared toward an action plan necessary for success after the program while stressing a deeper understanding of God and His purpose for your life.
You will never be alone in your recovery. An effective key to transformation is sharing your journey with others on a similar path to your own. These group sessions also open a window to trust, integrity, and accountability.
Worship and Devotions
The principle goal of our program is to lay crucial foundations in resident understanding of what is involved with Christian Recovery and having a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This happens through the art of corporate worship and personal quiet time.
After establishing a healthy foundation, you will embark on a curriculum of classes and become prepared for your exit from the program by embracing the Christian walk on a deeper level as well as learning new habits and new coping skills.
Adult Education Program
To aid in adjusting to life after the program, residents who have not earned their high school diploma or GED are given an opportunity to participate in the Adult Education Program.
