I began running more than 10 years ago as a means to just get outside. It eventually led to a passion for distance running and seeking bigger challenges. This coming February I will be joining an awesome group of individuals that will be fusing this same passion with an objective that is bigger than ourselves. Over the course of eight days we'll set out to run 230 miles through Haiti, from Cap Haitian to Jacmel. While this run is confined to 8 days it won't finish when we reach Jacmel. It will continue on through the already-impactful work of Team Tassy - providing access to healthcare, job training to expand individual capacity, guidance in obtaining an education - all creating opportunities so that individuals and their families can rise out of poverty. Running for 230 miles seems crazy but we're going to do it because it is not for us. I hope you take this opportunity to join in on this journey as we push our limits so that others can surpass theirs. How about it?
