BENEFITING: Imerman Angels
EVENT DATE: Oct 07, 2017
Family and Friends,
I’m excited to share that I will be participating in this year’s Bank of America Chicago Marathon – my first 26.2 mile race. Most importantly, I’m running with Team Imerman Angels, a non-profit organization that strives to ensure no one faces cancer on their own.
I first became involved with this organization when I was living in New York right out of college in 2014. I witnessed first hand Imerman’s tremendous impact and personalized connections that enable one-on-one support for cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers.
I will also be running on behalf of family members who battled cancer. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, the strength, courage, and faith exhibited by my loved ones motivates me to make a difference and will make for an even more rewarding experience.
As I begin to train the hills of San Francisco, I kindly ask for support in the form of a donation to Imerman Angels. While my current goal is to reach $1,500, please understand that any amount is greatly appreciated. Together, we will help ensure that cancer patients won’t be battling this fight on their own.
