BENEFITING: Canine Angels Service Teams
Its been a dream and goal of mine since I was about 13 to raise a service puppy. Thanks to the support of my awesome family, I got to fulfill my dream this last year. Its been challenging and rewarding, and something I would do again in a heartbeat.
On June 27th, we've got the impossible task of saying goodbye to Bentley as he moves on to his advanced training with Canine Angels. It costs approximately $15,000 to train one service dog from birth to placement. I would like to help raise the money that it costs for Bentley to reach his full potential of a service dog.
Canine Angels is a non profit organization that trains dogs to assist children and young adults with special needs. Among many other vital tasks, their dogs retrieve dropped items, turn lights on and off, open and close doors, assist in physical therapy exercises, and alert an adult when needed. These best friends provide comfort, greater independence and increased self confidence. They provide these dogs at no cost to the families and support these service teams throughout their lives together.
Please help me in my efforts to make the world a better place!
