BENEFITING: CHALLENGE DAY
EVERY 7 MINUTES, A KID IS BULLIED.
Challenge Day is a one-day program that helps end teasing and bullying in schools. It’s a place where kids can be themselves. Through fun, energetic and thought-provoking games, kids learn healthy ways to express themselves, experience the true costs of bullying and grow in their compassion for others. At the end, kids are challenged to “be the change” and create the school of their dreams.
It only costs $33 per teen and many say it's
THE BEST DAY OF THEIR LIFE!
Some even say it has saved their life. Your donation helps make life good for teens and schools that would otherwise not be able to experience Challenge Day. Help us reach even more kids in need! #GROWtheGood
"There are many programs available which tell kids how and why bullying hurts. The genius of Challenge Day is the simple way in which the activities show kids that lesson. The students see others who have experienced many of the same obstacles they have faced. They see peers who experienced even greater challenges." – Dwayne Newman, Superintendent at Colusa Unified School District, Colusa, CA

Kids who are bullied often suffer from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, poor concentration and tragically some see suicide or violence as the only way out. Let’s face it; the life of a teenager in school can be hard. Teens also face violence, emotional trauma, and social isolation during a time in their life when emotions and social relationships can be incredibly rocky. A path breaking study showed that when people lack social connection, the impact on their health is worse than obesity, smoking, and blood pressure. It’s tragic for teens to experience that kind of health trauma at such a young age.
But life is good for teens when they feel like they belong and feel connected to other teens and adults. Research shows that when people feel like they belong and are close to others, they have higher self-esteem, stronger emotional regulation, lower anxiety and depression, and better emotional and physical health. They live longer.
LIFE IS GOOD AT CHALLENGE DAY
