It's time once again for the Paddle for Plummer!
I had such a great time last year that I decided to do it again. And this time I am not alone... My sister-in-law, Sarah Seminski, has challenged me to a race since she's still smarting from losing by 6 minutes to me at the 2015 Frosty Four.
See the picture to the left of this blurb? That was from the Frosty Four. See her eyes? You can tell that she is thinking about ways she can beat me...
So now we are taking our running competitions to another level for a great cause.
The Plummer Home, which has been an important part of Salem since 1855, serves kids who have been bouncing around foster care for most of their lives. Their childhoods have been full of upheaval, uncertainty and instability. They need safety, stability and families that will be theirs forever. Plummer Home helps them find that.
Paddle for Plummer will take place on Saturday July 11, 2015 in Salem, MA at Winter Island. I'm asking for your support in donating to The Plummer Home. I encourage you to look at their website to learn about the Plummer Home: http://www.plummerhome.org/index.php
I also invite you to come out for the event. It is a fantastic time! Plus you'll get to see Sarah and I paddle it out for fastest sister on a board ;)
