Bring Beth (+ kids) to Disney!
Organized by: Linda Dusanic
My niece, Beth Silver, got the shock of her life last year when she developed a difficult-to-treat cancer. She's been diagnosed with neuroendicrine pancreatic cancer, the same cancer that killed Apple's Steve Jobs. After being on chemotherapy for over a year, Beth has been working hard to try and make time for herself and her children. Her family believes Beth deserves a break from it all. Still, it's hard for any one person to come up with the money, and so we've created this fundraiser to let friends, family, and others make her wish come true.
When we asked her if there was anything she wanted to do, share, or experience if she had limited time, she responded by saying she wanted to take the kids to Disneyland as a family. She wanted them to have a wonderful shared experience now that all of the kids are old enough to remember the experience and create joyful memories for all.
The trip, which is a week long, includes six people: Beth Silver, her fiance Jack Gullette, and her kids Malia (14), Makena (10), Mylie (9), and Chase (7). The 10,000 dollars will be split three ways, about $3,000 for the travel expenses from Spokane, Washington to Los Angeles, CA and about $6,500 for resort hotel package, with approximately 500 dollars left over for spending money and emergencies. Staying at the resort will allow them the flexibility to rest when needed, while still being close to the action.
If you have any personal questions about Beth and her situation, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I understand that scams have happened through these websites before. AIl her family wants is to give Beth and her children the wonderful family experience and memories that they deserve.
