I have joined the Champions of Childhood campaign to support Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center’s efforts to serve our community’s most vulnerable children whose lives have been splintered by violence, abuse or neglect. DVCAC’s programs provide critical support to help stop the cycle of violence and heal both emotional and physical wounds. Through a Family Helpline, education programs, safe shelter, therapeutic interventions and Supervised Visitation Center, they provide stability, develop new skills and help keep children safe. The agency reaches over 2000 children each year and your support is vital in helping them continue these efforts.
I have set a goal of personally raising $1,000 so that the campaign can achieve its goal of $80,000 raised by the agency’s new Breakfast of Champions celebration on April 30th. I hope you will consider making a generous donation to help me reach me goal. If you would like to learn more about DVCAC and their programs, go to www.DVCAC.org where you will be impressed with the menu of comprehensive services to family all across our community.
On behalf of the families served by DVCAC, you have our most heartfelt gratitude.
