BENEFITING: SITAR ARTS CENTER
EVENT DATE: Mar 08, 2014
After a 2013 hiatus, I am BACK. I've selected my music, am spending some quality time on the Steinway, and have begun the countdown to my concert. I'm very excited to share an hour of music with you! I know some of you live in different time zones or hemispheres, or maybe you're already busy on March 8th. But anyone who believes in arts education can donate to Sitar Arts Center and support my concert.
Sitar's overhead is $1000/student/semester. If I can raise $3000 in one night, that gives three deserving kids 16 weeks of unlimited arts education next semester. SIXTEEN WEEKS of class in exchange for the 5 minutes it will take you to make a donation. If you're someone who loves the arts and believes as strongly as I do in arts education, that's a precious gift to give any child.
Thanks in advance for any contribution you can make. I hope to see you on March 8. As in the past, the afterparty will be at Meze, just a few blocks away.
You are invited to enjoy a special concert performance by

Sitar Arts Center brings a diverse community together to give underserved children and youth the opportunity to explore and study the visual and performing arts in an afterschool safe haven. The Center partners with local volunteer artists and arts organizations to provide comprehensive arts education, nurturing relationships and high expectations that enable young people to better know and express themselves they discover and develop their artistic gifts and life skills.
Bringing high-quality arts education to families who would otherwise not have these opportunities, Sitar Arts Center relies on charitable contributions to ensure that no family is ever turned away because of inability to pay.
