As many of my friends and family know - I lost my baby-girl Ms Betty Spaghetti on January 20th 2013 just shy of her 16th birthday. Betty was not just my dog, she was my true companion.
I can't think of a better way to honor Betty's life than by raising money in her honor for the Pug Rescue of New England (PRONE).
About PRONE - http://www.pugrescueofnewengland.org
PRONE is a non-profit organization that accepts, cares for and places abandoned and unwanted Pugs with services throughout New England.
Rescued Pugs are checked by a veterinarian, updated on all shots, and treated for current medical needs before being placed for adoption. The vigorous adoption process is set-up with stringent criteria to ensure that all Prone Pugs are placed in a lovable, well cared for environment. All of which is 100% achieved through the dedicated volunteers of Prone.
In 2013 PRONE Volunteers cared for, and placed up for adoption, over 100 Pugs with veterinarian bills and adoption expenses of over $60,000.
Please help me meet my goal of $2,000. This money will directly help so many Pugs as they find their new forever-home.
Just look into those Big Brown-Betty Davis Eyes in the photo attached! How could you say no to that :)
Hope to see you on June 7th - Carson Beach in South Boston!
I can't thank you enough for your support as I honor and cherish the life of Betty.
