I’ve run over 30 half marathons in my running career. All of them are 13.1 miles, but then there is the Jazz Half Marathon in New Orleans on October 31st. It’s not the same 13.1 miles, it’s 13.1 miles filled with joy and encouragement for the 5,000 participants who are running to support Children’s Hospital. The Jazz Half Marathon benefits the LaNasa-Greco Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, which treats more than 1,100 children each year. Children's Hospital treats more Louisiana kids with cancer than all other facilities combined. Last year, the Jazz Half Marathon raised over $350,000 for the oncology patients at Children's Hospital. Would you help me make that figure even bigger this year? Thanks for your support!
