“Assisting Victims of Domestic Violence in their Journey from Survivor to Thriver.”
The Bexar County Family Justice Center Foundation exists to support the structure and purpose of the Bexar County Family Justice Center (Center) by serving as the financial agent, advocating for its system of services, and helping partnerships to thrive. The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, EIN #73-1723464, that helps to support the mission of the Center by providing the facilities and resources needed to provide direct services to victims (i.e. rent, office and child care supplies, program support, emergency assistance (i.e. food, diapers, bus vouchers, etc.)) As a result, the Foundation expends its funds to provide direct services to citizens of Bexar County.
The Center provides services to the thirty-one incorporated cities and townships that constitute Bexar County. Through a collaboration of over 40 community partners, at the Center, victims of domestic violence may seek help in the areas of prosecution, civil legal services, law enforcement, food, housing, financial stabilization, child protective services, child care, and victim and child therapy. The Center strives to provide not only crisis support, but educational empowerment for survivors. Through the efforts of the Center, we hope to break the cycle of violence and eradicate domestic violence in Bexar County.
