BENEFITING: Susan G. Komen New England
EVENT DATE: Jun 06, 2015
Our Team, The DONNAS, started walking in the Komen Race for the Cure back in 2006 to support my Aunt Donna Ryan as a breast cancer survior. We now have another survivor, my Aunt Annie Geer.
This year marks Donna's 10th year as a survivor!
Let's celebrate by walking together at Komen Hartford on June 6th.
Can you help us raise money for Komen CT?
Race for the Cure Greater Hartford started in 1994 and has remained a staple in the Greater Hartford community ever since. Through funds raised by our Race participants, Komen Connecticut has contributed to funding more than $23 million in breast cancer research, local education, screening and treatment. Every dollar raised by Race for the Cure makes a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer.
Did you know that Connecticut has the HIGHEST incidence of breast cancer in the U.S. with over 3,000 Connecticut women diagnosed annually? Komen Connecticut needs YOU as a part of our crusade to end breast cancer forever. Your fundraising efforts will help save the lives of Connecticut women.
More treatment. More research. More survivors. A cure.
