Bianca's Sophomore Success - Closed
Organized by: Bianca Sices
Hi, my name is Bianca Sices I am happy to announced that I finished my freshmen year at Mercy College! Going to college has been my dream since I found my calling in life: to become a Social Worker. Achieving my first year of college has been a wonderful and challenging experience, that would otherwise be impossible without the support of amazing individuals who have stepped forward with financial assistance.
In order to make my Sophomore year as successful as my freshmen year, I will be counting on the assistants from my community, family, peers, and donors. I am proud to announce that I was able to secure a significant amount of financial aid assistance, have been maintaining a part time job at the local grocery store while interning at the South East Wastewater Treatment Plant. So far I covered the cost for my air fare, tuition, and text books. However, I still need support in covering the cost of my room and board. The cost of room and board is 8,500 dollars per year which also include all my meals while I'm in school.
Through this page you can donate to this cause, as well sharing it with you friends and family or anyone who is passionate about sending people like myself to college in order to better my life as well as the future of my community. I am excited for you to become apart of my sophomore year at Mercy College and I created a blog where you can keep up on my progress and share in the celebrating of my successes.
