You will need to designate a team captain to sign up and manage your team donation page to compete.
The Competition will have THREE categories.
1st Category “Steam Team”: 12 people – $1,000.00 – team must raise minimum of $1,000.00.
2nd category “Steam Team Pro”: 6 people – $500.00 – must raise minimum of $500.
3rd category “611 SOLO Pro”: 1 person – $250.00 – must raise minimum of $250.

About the event: A fun, innovative new event with a playful celebration of Roanoke’s history! The Presbyterian Community Center presents the American National Bank Big Lick Train Tug on Saturday October 7th at the Virginia Museum of Transportation! Teams will enroll to “tug” the train, competing for distance as well as fundraising efforts.
We will also feature live music, food trucks, local craft beer and activities and fun for kids with free admission to watch the competition enjoy the fun! This event is sure to be another favorite curated by the area’s leader in events, Big Lick Entertainment! About PCC: Established in 1967 to provide for the basic human needs of the residents of Southeast Roanoke, the PCC today assists families and individuals living in the eastern quadrants of Roanoke City, eastern Roanoke County and the Town of Vinton.
