Breast Cancer tragicaly affects the lives of millions each year. Nearly 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with the illness, accounting for 12% of women in the US alone. All of us have some sort of personal experience or encounter with the illness, whether it's a relative, friend, colleague, or otherwise.
As research efforts progress, treatment options become more inclusive and thorough. There are about 2.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today, thanks to fundrasiers just like this throughout the past decades. However, it still continues to be the second leading cause of cancer death in women. The journey towards the cure is not over.
In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we ask you to please make a domation, small or large, to this incredible cause. You will be helping brothers to reach their goals and compete in this lighthearted competition while making strides towards eradicating this disease.
Zeta Tau Alpha's Third Annual Big Man On Campus will take place on Tuesday, October 13th at 9:00 PM in the College Avenue Student Center Multipurpose Room.
