From June 3rd through the end of July I will Bike for Mike from the west coast of Oregon to the east coast of New York. I will raise awareness and funds for the Ace in the Hole Foundation with the goal of donating $12,000 by the end of my ride. I am reaching out to you for your support. Follow my journey here:
The total ride will encompass over 3,000 miles. With a goal of $12,000, I am asking for support of $4.00 a mile. Please consider sponsoring 10 miles ($40.00), 25 miles ($100.00), or 100 miles ($400), of my ride. All monies received will go to directly help Marines and their families. Ace in the Hole Foundation is a family run, volunteer driven New York State 501(c)3 corporation. All costs of the ride will be paid out of pocket.
Ace in the Hole Foundation was founded to properly remember and honor the sacrifice of 1st LT Michael LiCalzi USMC. 1st LT LiCalzi lost his life while serving our country during Operation Iraqi Freedom in May 2006. The Foundation provides financial aid, material assistance and succor to charitable organizations and causes. The Foundation’s financial aid and material assistance is administered directly to deserving recipients or through contributions to charitable organizations with which the Foundation has working partnerships. Particular emphasis is given to the support of Marine tankers, especially those of the 2d Tank Battalion, 2d Marine Division, as well as other armed service personnel and their families.
