Bill Kelly is one of the Founding Partners and Chief Operating Officer of Panning Capital Management. Bill is a 1985 graduate of Fordham University (yes he is 52). Besides working on Wall Street for the last 30 years, which in and of itself has been exhausting, Bill has done lots of triathlons, too many to count, while finding time to squeeze in being a husband and a dad.
He is consistently nationally ranked in his age group and has represented Team USA at multiple Triathlon World Championships. Bill lives a very sleep deprived life in Chatham, New Jersey with his wife Karen and three children, Conor, Katie, and Diana. Both Conor and Katie are currently attending The University Of Virginia and Diana, in a few years, will be headed to the University of Notre Dame to play Lacrosse.
Bill enjoys family time, working out (obviously), skiing, drinking yummy wine with friends, Bruce Springsteen music , and being around passionate high-energy people. After Bill crossed the finish line of the 2007 Lake Placid Ironman, which ended with him running a 3:10 marathon, he swore he would never do another marathon again. Bill has launched a full investigation into how he got talked into doing a marathon on the North Pole. The Navy Seals have promise to assist in that investigation, stay tuned.
