HELLO ALL! Campbell here, reporting from Moshi, Tanzania! A lot has been accomplished so far-- we've met with EEF's founders Sara and Fatuma to discuss what we want to accomplish this summer, we've met EEF students from both Magareza and Shirimatunda primary schools, and we are now beginning to create an EEF business plan and budget! We start home visits with each student next week. Anna and I bought A TON of stuff at Target for the kids before we left (t shirts, underwear, school supplies etc) and next week we are going to be delegating funds to kids getting sponsored! I will definitely continue to keep all of you generous people updated. You've helped so many kid's lives already!! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Stuff About Me:

Bull Mares has run over 30 marathons, including over 15 Vermont City Marathons.

Bill Mares is the former president of the Vermont Beekeepers Association, and vice-president of the Eastern Apicultural Society. He recently retired from teaching history at Champlain Valley Union High School in Vermont. As a writer and photographer, he has done work for the Christian Science Monitor and The Economist, and worked at newspapers in Illinois, Michigan, New Hampshire and Vermont. Bill has authored a number of books, including Fishing with the Presidents and Bees Besieged.

Brewing Change is part travelogue, part social commentary, and part motivating business model for building corporate social responsibility. Brewing Change chronicles Peyser’s 24-year career with an insider’s view of GMCR, one of the largest specialty coffee companies and purchasers of Fair Trade coffee in the world. One hundred percent of the authors’ earnings and 10 percent of Wind Ridge Publishing’s net profits from the sale of Brewing Change benefit Food 4 Farmers.
Bill served in the Vermont House of Representatives from 1985 to 1991. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.A. from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
