Biogas for cooking for Rural Villages
Organized by: Chris Pritchard
We are now standing at a cross roads in time when the urgency to protect our fragile planet has never before been more urgent. West Africa has a unique biodiversity but Human activity is putting huge pressures on land and wildlife. The bush is being cleared for firewood and charcoal burning. Simply I want to use the current technology of converting human waste into bio fuel for cooking. This will help reduce the impact on trees and wildlife. I plan to build a communal gas plant and allow woman to cook on gas energy derived from the waste.
