BENEFITING: CARY-GROVE ROTARY CHARITABLE FUND
EVENT DATE: Feb 23, 2013
With temperatures below zero, more than 4,500 feet of climbing, and 9,400 competitors, Wisconsin’s 54K American Birkebeiner is the largest and one of the toughest cross-country ski races in the United States. Crossing the finish line is nothing short of a lifetime achievement.
So, got to ski this race, first full birkie ever, and I have 2 big goals, one is to cross the finish line without a ventilator, and two, to support a great local cause, the Cary Grove Rotary (yes, I am a member) Charitable Fund, who directs 100% of your contribution directly to the great Cary and Fox River Grove, IL community needs, including the Food Pantry, Cary Grove High School Scholarships, Cary Center for Autism, Summer Concerts at Lions Park, etc. Go ahead check 'em out at www.carygroverotary.org , but in them meantime, help your community out and help motivate me by making a tax deductible donation!
