BENEFITING: BLACK DAGGER MILITARY HUNT CLUB INC
On Monday, 29 May 1972, I made my grand debut into this world... 3 months premature. Not only was this my birthday, but it was also Memorial Day. For my father, a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Army, it was also a day to honor his fallen brothers. Instead, he was at the hospital worried about losing his newborn daughter. I remained in the hospital until Labor Day, when I was finally able to go home to be with my parents and siblings. Fast forward 44 years and I believe this is why I have a special place in my heart for Veterans. Well, not to mention because I recognize the sacrifices made for my freedom, liberty, safety and happiness. Today, I ask you to consider making a contribution to my birthday fundraiser for our Veterans at BLACK DAGGER MILITARY HUNT CLUB. I'm hosting this fundraiser to HELP VETERANS HEAL OUTDOORS! Now through Memorial Day, 30 May 2016, you can also help our Veterans heal through adaptive shooting, hunting and fishing activities. Please, use this as a means to recognize someone who has served in our armed forces, recognize another person's birthday, etc. Last year was my first year to host an online birthday fundraiser and, thanks to the generous donations of friends and family, BDMHC was able to take 2 wounded Veterans on a hog hunt!!! We've all heard the saying "The more, the merrier!" so this year I'd like to raise $500 and send 4 Veterans on a hog hunt!!! Thank you for considering to be a part of my birthday celebration for Veterans!!! For more info on BDMHC, visit their website at www.blackdaggermhc.org.
