BENEFITING: Nomi Network
Late last year, on what seemed like just another ordinary winter day, two Nomi Network colleagues discovered something that would change the course of their Nomi-dedicated lives forever. In a thrilling moment of fundraising fate, Alissa Moore-Williams and Maria Dora Blackburn realized that they were not only joined together by their passion for fighting human trafficking, but have been (and forever will be) joined together by the fact that their mothers welcomed them into the world on the exact same day 6 years apart. This year, in honor of this discovery, they are celebrating by doing a massive joint birthday campaign, aptly named: Birthday Twins United For Nomi! If you make a gift towards our joint campaign at any point between now and March 21st you will get a personalized shout out for your generosity on social media, and if we collectively meet our goal of raising $5,600 (3,100 for Alissa + 2,500 for Maria) then we will host Nomi Network's first ever Twins Costume Party, complete with prizes. To incentivize even further, the week leading up to our campaign we will be dressing alike daily, posting photos to Facebook, and inviting you to guess which famous twins we're impersonating. We hope you'll join us in our efforts to share Nomi's work creating economic opportunities for survivors and women at risk far and wide!
