If you’ve been chained to your desk and missed it, Super Typhoon Haiyan struck the shores of the Phillipines 11/8. Sustained winds were 160 mph with gusts of over 185 mph—like standing behind the revving engine of a jumbo jet. But, it was a 16-foot storm surge that caused the worst damage. Some 11M Filipinos have been affected, and the country is facing a death toll that could climb well above 10K.
We’ve created a fundraising page on Crowdrise which will capture donations accepted before, during, and after the potluck. You can begin donating now.
