Sheltering Homeless Tanzanian street children

My name is Joel. For four years I lived in Tanzania and encountered a problem unknown in the West, homeless children either thrown out of their homes by parents unable to care for them or orphaned by diseases unique to the African continent. Tanzania is still unable to provide food, shelter or programs for these children. It is estimated that there are as many as 500,000 in Tanzania alone and 4 million in East Africa. Along with some friends we have started sheltering some of these kids from the poorest region in the country, Singida and training them in life skills. We are filing for a 5013c and plan to start an NGO, but right now it's all been out of our pocket and we are seriously running out of funds. Any $5 $10 $25 donation can help us feed and shelter more children.
