THE STORY:

Soccer in the Streets, Inc. wrote -

OCTOBER 2, 2011
PARK TAVERN/PIEDMONT PARK
2:00-6:00 PM

All kids deserve a chance for success.

Soccer in the Streets empowers kids who lack opportunity by using soccer as a medium to make them employable adults.

How can you help? By wearing black tie attire and playing a soccer match!

In its first two years, the Black Tie Soccer Game and its players have raised over $50,000 to expand Soccer in the Streets programming across metro Atlanta. Currently, nearly 600 kids on a weekly basis are involved in our programs. Help us prepare more kids for success in life with your participation in this year's Black Tie Soccer Game!

Each player has a goal of raising $500 through pledges. Are you up to the challenge?

In memory of one of the first people I knew playing soccer. Bryan Craig Bennett (RIP) - you were on a different team than I was, but I remember your spirit and your sweetness from those days. I think we were 8 years old, wow... You were taken from this world too young. Your heart and strength, kindness and laughter we will always remember. 6 years ago
