Hey there! We are a popular food pop-up in NYC serving Bolivian food to adventurous palettes looking to break away from their typical dining experience. Casual, fun and inciting is what we like to be when we're serving our cuisine!
So I'm not here to ask you to donate to Bolivian Llama Party for any business ventures or ideas. I'm here asking you to help build a daycare in the beautiful province of Cochabamba where our parents are from.
We have received a lot of love and luck in this business and we want to give back. In fact, its our dream to be able to give back in a meaningful way. And we couldn't think of a better way to start than to build the FIRST DAYCARE in Tarata, Cochabamba. EVER.
We are working closely with our friend, Jessica Garcia, from Vision de Ayuda; a non-profit started in NYC to give resources to kids and mothers in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Here's the link to their website! http://visiondeayuda.org/
Vision de Ayuda has been actively working for the underprivileged children of Bolivia since 2013 and have already completed their first project; building the FIRST playground in Tarata!
The Bolivian government has graciously donated a plot of land to Vision de Ayuda after completing the playground. Without sparing a moment, Vision de Ayuda has already drawn up blueprints for the daycare with contractors ready to be hired.
All that we need is your help! Imagine helping build a daycare in Bolivia. Children would be taught how to read, write (and hopefully cook!) The daycare would also be a place where kids can develop important skills in early childhood and also will provide classes + resources for mothers to learn specific skills to empower them when searching for jobs.
If you have ever wanted to help or give back, do it RIGHT NOW. Don't wait. The right time will never present itself to you. I fooled myself by thinking that. As a business, I have always given a little extra even when I knew it would be biting into our margins because I knew it would create an atmosphere of giving. Please help and make a real change!
