My name is Kayla Schock. On May 13th, I will be running in the Allyson Whitney 5K with my family, who are members of law enforcement, and our friends and family. The Allyson Whitney Foundation is set up in memory of Allyson Whitney Strong, her mom Barbara, was my 2nd grade teacher. Allyson battled a rare and aggressive cancer. Unfortunately, 70,000 young people (ages 15-39) are diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States. The Allyson Whitney Foundation was started to provide young adults with ‘life interrupted grants’ to ease their financial burden so that they can concentrate their energy on healing. I look forward to raising money for such a wonderful cause! Please support me in helping this wonderful foundation by making a donation, any amount helps! I would be even happier if you joined my team and ran with me on May 13th!
