I am starting a To Go Fund account for my sister Debbi Mathias and her husband Bob Mathias. My sister Debbi was hospitalized in April 2015 for 34 days after suffering 2 strokes. Bob and Debbi were just starting to recover financially when Bob was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma (Cancer) in May of this year. Bob is currently going through Chemotherapy at University Hospital in Cleveland Ohio. He is going for his 4th round this week with 2 more rounds to follow. After this round of Chemo Bob will then have a PET Scan which will show how well the Cancer has responded to treatment or if it has spread to other areas. Bob will then have to follow up with Radiation. The PET scan will determine how many Radiation treatments he will need. Dr's are talking anywhere from 15 to 30 treatments which means traveling to Cleveland every day Mon-Friday until treatment is completed. Bob and Debbi are on a limited income due to Bob being retired and Debbi having to take a medical retirement. They are trying to stay positive through this ordeal , but their financial situation is starting to take a toll on them. Any donations or prayers to help this family would be deeply appreciated. They are a wonderful family who have helped many people throughout their lives. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
