EVENT DATE: Nov 29, 2016
This year Bogg is participating in #GivingTuesday. What does this mean? It's a simple concept that could provide 10,000 meals to families living the Dayton area! On Tuesday November 29, we are asking our Bogg family to join together to help us feed families throughout the Dayton area. Do you want to join this movement? We'll tell you how in four simple steps.
- Step 1: Eat dinner with your family on Tuesday nights during the month of November.
- Step 2: Save the same amount of money you spent on your Tuesday night family dinners to donate back for #GivingTuesday.
- Step 3: Donate the money you saved each Tuesday to our Crowdrise page for Giving Tuesday. In other words, if you spend $10 on your family dinner each Tuesday, then set aside an extra $10 each week that you can donate back to us for Giving Tuesday.
- Step 4: Make this your own challenge. Do what works best for you to help us reach our goal of 10,000 meals.
We want families to feed families. There are many ways that you can get your whole family involved in Giving Tuesday. Have your kids help you plan and cook the meals on Tuesdays. Then have them help you clean up the kitchen after dinner. If you offer your kids an allowance for completing chores, encourage them to donate a portion of their chore money back to #GivingTuesday. Tell them every $1 they donate will provide 2 meals to families living in the Dayton area. We want to make sure our fellow Daytonians have the opportunity to cook a homemade meal with their families just like you and your kids are doing each Tuesday!
Our Bogg family cannot provide 10,000 meals without the help from your family. Let's #FeedDayton together. Bogg has great recipes on our app if you want to try new meals each Tuesday, or maybe you can teach your kids how to prepare one of Grandma's famous recipes that you used to eat growing up. Make each Tuesday unique to your family! If you join us for Giving Tuesday this year, you'll be providing families with the opportunity to make family dinner memories just like the ones you'll be making with your own family this November.
