EVENT DATE: May 30, 2016
My son, Cory, was born with bilateral clubfoot, a condition that affects 1 in 750 children each year. When he was a week old, Cory started the Ponseti method of treatment with the incredibly talented orthopedics team at The Children's Hospital in Colorado. Today, he is a walking, running, climbing toddler. He still wears his brace (aka: snowboard) at naps and at night but otherwise has completely normal feet.
Left untreated, a child with clubfoot cannot walk normally and will live with chronic pain and severely limited mobility. MiracleFeet provides a full Ponseti clubfoot treatment (casting, bracing, and follow-up) for one child for $250. I'd like to give the gift of walking to ten children ($2500). Help me reach that goal as I run the BolderBoulder 10k in Boulder, CO on May 30, 2016.
