My name is James Bentson and I am the President of the House of Dietrich Bonhoeffer at The King’s College. It has been my privilege to be the leader of this brotherhood, which strives to persevere in righteousness in order to become courageous men who will one day lead businesses, churches, schools, governments, and families.
The House of Bonhoeffer is about to embark on our annual Spring Retreat. This year, the House is going to Upstate New York for a weekend at the home of Bonhoeffer alumnus, Chad Abbott, to enjoy fellowship with one another and reflect on how we can become better men who will one day lead. We will be there February 27, 28 and returning March 1. During our time there, we will enjoy the snowy northern terrain of Central New York, where we will ski, snowmobile, worship, and more.
Our House is committed to shaping men who are dedicated to our four values: Discipleship, Community, Courage, and Sacrifice. On this retreat, our men will focus on learning the value of community and discipleship, both in the activities we do together and in the time of deep conversation.
In order for this retreat to succeed, we need your help. The House must raise $4,000 to address our needs for transportation, food, and other trip expenses.
Your donation will help all the men in our House have the opportunity to participate in this trip.
We would appreciate your prayers, and your donation. Please click the Donate tab to give.
Your gift is tax deductible.
Thank you and God bless,
-President of the House of Bonhoeffer
