Country music artist and proud patriot Granger Smith is lacing up his BOOTS once again for the fourth annual Boot Walk, May 4-8, 2014. Granger will begin the 100-mile trek in Austin, Texas and will spend five days wearing out those combat boots all the way to Fort Hood. And since it’s always good to reward a good deed, join Granger and special guests at the celebration concert May 8 at Ft. Hood Harley-Davidson. Benefitting the Boot Campaign, a national 501c3 non-profit, the Boot Walk is an outward gesture of support for servicemen and women around the globe. It’s also a fun, inspirational way to raise funds that support Boot Campaign initiatives related to jobs, housing, wellness, family support, and urgent assistance for military personnel, past and present, and their families.
Since 2011, Granger has logged 100 miles each year as a tribute to those serving our country in the U.S. Armed Forces, and he’s walked every step in combat boots. His passionate support for our troops led to the creation and recording of “That’s What I Do with It,” Granger’s tribute to America’s freedom fighters. While Granger is walking across Central Texas in his BOOTS, YOU can make a difference by creating a Boot Walk fundraising team! Encourage your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to make a donation, motivating Granger on his 100-mile journey. Then join Granger for the celebration concert to express honor and gratitude for our country’s heroes!
Help Granger raise $50,000 for the Boot Campaign! Your donations will help provide mortgage-free homes, shelter for homeless veterans, PTSD counseling, wellness and surviving spouses retreats, emergency assistance funding, and so much more.
