BENEFITING: BORGEN PROJECT
I joined the Borgen Project as a writer intern to learn more about political advocacy and how we can change the world through policy changes. I am a junior community health major with a minor in international development and conflict management at the University of Maryland. I was first introduced to the world of non-governmental and relief work through my global health scholars program and really found a passion for the material. Last year on a service trip to rural Honduras, it became clear to me that I want to continue improving the lives of others, on a larger scale. I hope to continue to empower others and serve as an advocate for underserved and impoverished communities around the world.
