Boris the Virginia Tech Police Dog Surgery Fund
Organized by: Jason Brauns
Like many of you, I’m a die-hard dog fan. We know we’d do just about anything to maintain our pet’s well-being. So I was devastated to learn of the issue faced by recently-retired VT Police force canine, Boris. His handler and colleague, Officer Reece, shared that to repair the herniated disks in Boris’ spine, costs would be between $2500 and $3000 at the Vet Med School. Since Boris is “retired,” the police department is unable to use department funds toward this cause. I’d like to ask you to help support Boris by contributing any amount you can to .......
We have raised enough money to pay for Boris's surgery and rehab to this point. I am going to leave this page up for a little longer. If any more money comes in after this point, I will add it to Boris's account to cover any additional expenses that might arise. If no other expenses arise, the remainder of the money will be given to the working dogs fund. This money goes to other working dogs that might have a similar situation arise.
