EVENT DATE: Oct 01, 2012
Starting this October, with the help of the organisation Projects Abroad, I will travel to Dar es Salaam, the capital city of Tanzania, in order to volunteer at local hospitals.
In Tanzania, the density of physicians per 1000 population is 0.008.
This means that ONE doctor is responsible for the lives of 125,000 Tanzanians!!!
This stands in stark contrast to the United States..where ONE doctor takes care of 374 Americans!
Therefore, help is direly needed, and I intend to do my best to give it.
Please donate to help me achieve this goal.
