Music has always been a enormous part of my family's life. From before I started school, my parents had me and both my sisters in piano lessons. That only furthered when I started playing viola and trumpet.
During my high school years, being a member of the Pride of Broken Arrow marching band played a huge part in building my character to become the person I am today. As I have grown older and started my college career, I want to continue to pursue my dreams as a member of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps.
The Boston Crusaders have always been a group that emits a sense of class and pride. They promote character traits such as self responsibility, hard work, team work, dedication and many many more.
For those of you who do not know what the Boston Crusaders do, check out the video right over there
The time and money neede for me and 149 of my friends to tour the country practicing and performing is quite immense. Everyday over the summer, we rehearse over 12 hours a day..regardless of heat or other tribulations.
As I begin my journey with the Boston Crusaders this summer, I ask you for your help. It is an huge feat to feed 150 mouths every meal, every day for 3 months. Throw in equipment, transportation and numerous other expenses, the cost to tour with the Boston Crusaders for one summer is astronomical. Any donation will help and I greatly appreciate your time to help me and my family of Boston Crusaders create a magical performance and memories that will last a life time!
Hope to see you at a show this summer!
