BENEFITING: Boston Medical Center
ORGANIZER: Boston Medical Center
EVENT: 2015 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
Hello and welcome to my personal fundraising page! I am very excited to be a part of Team BMC and am looking forward to sharing my running and fundraising adventures that lie ahead!
The Boston Marathon will be my 4th marathon. I ran the Chicago Marathon twice and plan to run the Ft. Lauderdale Marathon come February. One of my greatest running joys is the feeling of accomplishment upon the completion of a race, especially after having put in countless hours of training and goal setting! Coming from Chicago, I find bliss in running along the Lake Shore Drive path and taking in the most beautiful views of the city. Despite the atrocious Winters, you'll find me bundled up and running, running, running!!
Please help me support Boston Medical Center acheive their goal of occupying a new state-of-the-art emergency room! Every bit counts, just like every mile counts throughout my training!

Thank you for your support!
26.2 MILES TO A NEW BMC!
For the past 12 years, Boston Medical Center has proudly participated in Boston’s historic Marathon, raising more than $2.16 million for the hospital. In 2014, BMC was fortunate to have our biggest team in history, comprised of 107 runners and led by honorary team captain, actor Kevin Spacey. But the true stars last year were our runners who pounded the pavement, crossed the finish line and helped raise more than $1.1 million, in honor of the victims and marathon survivors of 2013. We are grateful to John Hancock Financial and the Boston Athletic Association for making Team BMC possible and for recognizing the unique role BMC plays in keeping our city strong.
This year, philanthropic efforts from Team BMC will be dedicated to our Building the New BMC campaign which will include construction of a new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department for our region. Boston Medical Center has the busiest Emergency and Trauma Center in New England with 130,000 patients per year—more than two-thirds of Boston’s major trauma cases annually. Understanding that trauma does not discriminate and anyone may need our services in a moment’s time, Team BMC stands committed to ensuring Boston Medical Center remains one of the very best trauma centers in the country. By donating to Team BMC you are showing support for the entire city of Boston.
Thank you for supporting Boston Medical Center in our mission to provide exceptional care, without exception every day!
